As a Business Analyst within the Performance team, you will play a key role in vendor management and business partnership, supporting the design, execution, and governance of vendor management frameworks aligned with business strategy and leadership priorities.
This role focuses on enabling data-driven decision-making through the development and optimization of performance management processes, reporting, and analytics. You will be responsible for building dashboards, automating reporting workflows, and delivering actionable insights that drive operational improvement.
You bring a structured, analytical mindset with strong operational experience, combining technical capability with a deep understanding of business processes to continuously enhance performance outcomes.
This is an initial 12-month contract with potential for extension based on program needs.
Responsibilities
- Support and promote adherence to organizational safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Design, develop, and implement supplier/vendor performance management frameworks aligned with business objectives
- Plan, structure, and coordinate surveys, scorecards, and performance tracking to ensure consistent delivery of key metrics
- Develop and manage performance reporting processes, ensuring data is captured, measured, and tailored to stakeholder needs
- Lead the automation of reporting workflows, collaborating with technical teams to improve data accessibility and visualization
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, insights, and performance gaps
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align performance metrics with business goals and leadership expectations
- Develop training materials and lead workshops on vendor management practices and reporting tools
- Support process standardization and governance, driving continuous improvement in performance routines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree considered an asset)
- 7+ years of experience in performance management, business analysis, or operations
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience automating data processes and optimizing workflows
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with senior leadership
- Proven experience establishing and managing performance management routines and governance processes
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., business intelligence platforms, SQL, scripting languages) is an asset
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment

- Data analytics or visualization certifications (e.g., recognized industry programs)
