On behalf of our Healthcare client, Affinity is seeking a Project Manager - SCM Decommissioning to manage all aspects of the delivery of an archiving and decommissioning strategy project, including oversight of budget, resources, and comprehensive project documentation (such as the project charter, implementation plan, testing strategy, budget tracking, and closure report).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Vendor Work
- Provide a single point of contact to liaise with the clients and PDHIS
- Coordinate PDHIS Work
- Provide a single point of accountability to deliver the required components of the project. The services shall generally encompass the following:
- Lead the planning team, which will be comprised of staff and contracted technical team members
- Provide project leadership, working closely with all teams, the clients and the vendor to monitor and ensure the project accomplishes all goals and deliverables of the project on time and to budget
- Develop and distribute regular project reporting to sponsors and stakeholders
- Project Documentation
- Compile Project Charter
- Project Budget
- Complete the Production Turnover (PTO)
- Service Desk Support (SDS)
- Project Closure
- Complete Service Level Agreement for the application
- Other Project Manager Responsibilities
- Creates and executes project work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
- Measures all deliverables against vendor recommended design and best/normal practices
- Reports on any deviations
- Effectively applies client methodology and enforces project standards
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Minimizes exposure and risk on project
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Tracks and reports on team hours and expenses
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
- Holds regular status meetings with project team
- Keeps project team well informed of changes
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
- Understanding how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
- Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential
- Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner
- Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members
- Mitigates team conflict and communication problems
- Manages day-to-day client interaction
Qualifications
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Cloud technology implementation.
