QC Inspector

Job Title: QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections on cables, wire harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Evaluate assemblies for workmanship, wire routing, crimp quality, solder joints, connector seating, shielding, and labeling.
• Operate electrical testing equipment to verify electrical integrity and performance.
• Read and interpret complex wiring schematics, blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Accurately record inspection results.
• Manage non-conforming materials by tagging, segregating, and quarantining them.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in quality control, specifically with cable assemblies.
• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
• Ability to interpret complex wiring schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment including multimeters and continuity testers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
