Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in math and teaching, with experience working with children and diverse learning needs. This role offers an opportunity to inspire students, foster a love for mathematics, and contribute to their academic success in a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• · Provide clear explanations using the CPA (Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract) approach
• · Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in Singapore Math and Contest Math like Kangaroo Math,Gauss,AMC.
• · Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and needs of each student.
• · Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning.
• · Mark the homework and develop the self-learning skills of the students.

Qualifications

• · Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• · Minimum 2 years of mathematics teaching experience, including at least 6 months of online teaching experience
• · Strong knowledge and practical application of the CPA teaching method; Math Olympiad or competition teaching experience preferred
• · Ability to teach in both English and Mandarin is an advantage
• · Proficiency in online teaching tools such as Zoom, ClassIn, etc.
• · Passion for teaching, love for mathematics, and a strong sense of responsibility

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
