Mental Health Counselor - BHS (YFT Main Campus)

Youth For Tomorrow is looking for a post Masters level Virginia license eligible therapist for our Bristow Main Campus location. We are seeking a MSW or RIC therapist to provide outpatient services to school age children, adolescents and families. This is a full-time position with benefits that include weekly supervision and licensure supervision for the LPC or LCSW license. Training and supervision for the play therapy credential or CSAC supervision towards credential is available

This is a hybrid position with four days in the office for face-to-face sessions and one day (Friday) remote for telehealth sessions. We work Monday through Friday and this includes three late nights until 7pm. Our pre-licensed clinicians conduct 25 sessions a week. Our YFT-BHS program is a well established team of therapists with strong community support with currently seven regional offices in Northern Virginia.

In our outpatient behavioral health program, we serve ages 5 to adult. We provide services to uninsured and under insured populations, accept most private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare.

Youth For Tomorrow is a 501 (c) (3) and a faith based, non-profit organization, founded in 1986 by Hall of Fame Football Coach Joe Gibbs. The organization is large, diverse, experienced and committed to serving the “least, the lost and the lonely” amongst us. YFT began as a residential home for at-risk boys, grew to serve girls, then reached out with community-based programs in 2012. We have offices in Loudoun, Fauquier, Fairfax and three offices in Prince William County. YFT holds one of the highest level of accreditation among behavioral health care clinical programs, being awarded national accreditation from The Joint Commission. YFT’s behavioral health services also are accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).

Qualifications

• Post Master's Level candidates who are eligible for licensure supervision in Virginia
• Demonstrated ability to work with children and adolescents in a counseling setting and function within an evaluation team format.
• Ability to assess treatment needs and deliver appropriate interventions.
• Ability to maintain all required documentation.
