About the Role
We are looking for skilled IPDRG Coders and Auditors with hands-on experience in inpatient coding and DRG assignment. The candidate should have strong knowledge of coding guidelines, clinical documentation, and auditing processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesFor IPDRG Coders:
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS codes for inpatient records
- Perform DRG grouping and ensure proper reimbursement classification
- Review clinical documentation and query physicians when required
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks
- Stay updated with coding guidelines and regulatory changes
For IPDRG Auditors:
- Conduct audits on coded inpatient charts for accuracy and compliance
- Identify coding errors and provide corrective feedback
- Ensure adherence to DRG guidelines and client-specific requirements
- Prepare audit reports and track quality metrics
- Support training and mentoring of coding teams
Required Qualifications
- Certified coder (any of the following preferred):
- CPC / CCS / CIC from AAPC or AHIMA
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IPDRG coding/auditing
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, DRG systems
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Good analytical and communication skills
Pay: ₹10,159.70 - ₹95,760.08 per month
