FinOps Data Analytics Engineer

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design and build new data warehouse & data mart solutions to simplify finance data from various sources such as Cloud Vendor, ERP systems, etc.
• Transform, test, deploy, and document data.
• Understand optimization and storage for warehouse technology.
• Apply software engineering best practices to analytics including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
• *Qualifications Required:**
• Expertise in data warehouse technologies like Google BigQuery.
• Proficiency in data transformation tools like DBT, Dataform, and SQL programming language.
• Familiarity with BI solutions like Looker/PowerBI.
• Experience with version control, git, CI/CD.

In this hands-on role as a FinOps Data Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate with the engineering team to develop data warehouses and products on Google Cloud Platform. Your primary focus will be on enterprise-wide data warehouse design, data models, and storage optimization using DBT, BigQuery, and GCP. Your core goals will include simplifying IT finance data, improving cost visibility, and gaining insights to drive an optimized and efficient IT function.
