This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced audit professionals and gain hands-on experience in financial statement audits, internal control evaluations, and client engagements across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements
• Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with GAAS through inquiry, observation, and review
• Prepare detailed workpapers to support audit procedures
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial data
• Contribute to larger audit engagements and take ownership of smaller ones as your skills grow
• Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify audit issues
• Use audit software and data analytics tools to enhance audit quality and efficiency
• Take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills
• Team-oriented with a desire to learn and grow
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with audit software is a plus
• Ability to work in one of our office locations
• 150 credit hours and prior internship experience with a public accounting firm
