Responsibilities

Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofits
Assist with tax planning and research projects using authoritative sources and Withum’s proprietary tools
Analyze financial data and apply tax regulations to client scenarios
Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to ensure integrated client service
Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic discussions
Leverage tax technology platforms and data analytics tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Stay current on evolving tax laws and industry trends
Assume increasing responsibility on engagements as your proficiency grows
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Skills

Graduated or graduating college student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and grow
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with tax software is a plus
Ability to work in one of our office locations
150 credit hours and prior internship experience with a public accounting firm
