About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our Customer Value Forecasting team within the Customer Value Optimization department. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing innovative machine learning products that directly influence business outcomes by improving value forecasting accuracy at HelloFresh. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to design, build, and deploy scalable, robust machine learning systems capable of handling large datasets and complex models. Your expertise will help optimize our forecasting processes, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the company's growth and innovation initiatives. You will be expected to stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, continuously seeking ways to improve our models and processes.

Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field

Proficiency in Python programming, with experience in libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation

Experience with PySpark or similar big data processing frameworks

Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale machine learning systems for production use

Knowledge of model monitoring, drift detection, and lifecycle management

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data science tooling including version control, CI/CD pipelines, model registries, and feature stores

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a passion for solving complex business challenges using machine learning

Experience with marketing or customer analytics is a plus Responsibilities Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand forecasting needs and develop machine learning solutions that meet those requirements

Create proof-of-concept models and iterate rapidly to refine and scale them into production-ready systems

Design, implement, and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines capable of processing large datasets efficiently

Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and robustness

Monitor deployed models for performance degradation and implement drift detection mechanisms

Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in machine learning and AI, integrating relevant innovations into projects

Propose process improvements and tools to streamline the machine learning development lifecycle and increase team productivity

Participate in cross-functional meetings to translate business needs into technical solutions
