Wipro is growing its Network Engineering and Autonomous Networks teams in Bangalore.

These roles sit at the intersection of networks, software engineering, and automation—building platforms that operate large‑scale fixed and wireless networks using modern engineering practices.

What you’ll work on

• Fixed and wireless network domains: IP, transport, access, core, RAN
• Modernising OSS platforms using open and modular architectures
• Building network automation and closed‑loop operations
• Developing service, resource, and network inventory platforms
• Engineering systems that reduce incidents, manual effort, and recovery time
• Turning telemetry and data into intelligent network actions

You’ll work on platforms that are live, complex, and always on.

Profile description:

Skills & experience we’re looking for

Network & domain

• Experience with telecom or large‑scale network environments
• Strong understanding of network operations and lifecycle
• Exposure to OSS, inventory, assurance, orchestration or provisioning

Engineering & automation

• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or similar
• Experience building automation frameworks and workflows
• API‑driven design, integrations, and event‑based systems
• Exposure to intent‑based or policy‑driven automation is a plus

Back‑end

• Building scalable microservices and backend platforms
• REST APIs, messaging, data pipelines
• Experience with databases (SQL / NoSQL) and data modelling
• Cloud‑native or container‑based development is valued

Front‑end

• Building operator or inventory UIs, dashboards, and portals
• Experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks
• Translating complex network data into usable interfaces
