Job Description
We are a fast-growing Health & Wellness DTC eCommerce brand looking for an Abandon Cart & Recovery Specialist to help maximize revenue and strengthen customer relationships. In this role, you will focus on reconnecting with customers, recovering abandoned or declined orders, and identifying opportunities to increase order value through strategic upselling, all while representing our brand with professionalism and care.
You will proactively reach out to potential and existing customers to recover lost sales, execute targeted retention campaigns, and provide product guidance to support purchasing decisions. You will customize your approach to each customer, handle objections effectively, process orders accurately, and maintain detailed CRM records. Success in this role is measured by your ability to consistently achieve sales targets, drive upsells, and deliver a positive, trust-building experience that enhances customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reach out to potential and existing customers to recover abandoned or declined orders and boost revenue.
- Execute targeted sales recovery strategies, including abandoned cart follow-ups and other retention-focused campaigns.
- Provide detailed product information and answer customer questions to guide purchasing decisions.
- Customize sales approaches to each customer, handling objections effectively to close sales and drive upsells.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM, ensuring all interactions, feedback, and sales activity are logged.
- Process orders efficiently and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
- Handle customer concerns professionally, protecting and enhancing the brand’s reputation.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets while proactively identifying opportunities for additional revenue.
- Monitor and report on sales recovery and upsell performance to support ongoing improvement.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in outbound sales or sales recovery roles, with a focus on abandoned orders, cart recovery, or similar initiatives.
- Proven expertise in upselling, increasing order value, and improving customer retention.
- Strong record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in hard selling and upselling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable using CRM tools, telephone systems, and sales tracking software.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand products and convey their value clearly to customers.
