About the Role

As a Sr Manager of Analytics and Data Science, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics, AI, and data science solutions to drive operational excellence and data-driven decision-making across Global Logistics. You will be responsible for building scalable data architectures, upholding rigorous data governance, and fostering a data-literate, innovative culture. Your work will enable predictive and prescriptive analytics, support GenAI-powered insights, and ensure the highest standards of data quality, security, and compliance.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and implement AI-powered models and tools, advancing the team from descriptive analytics to predictive and prescriptive insights.
  • Build and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines to support robust, compliant, and accessible data environments for advanced modeling.
  • Maintain and refine the data blueprint, ensuring consistent, organized, and easy-to-use information across Global Logistics.
  • Uphold and advance data governance standards to improve data completeness, timeliness, accuracy, quality, security, and compliance.
  • Lead data integration efforts, defining information flows between systems and optimizing data usage across teams.
  • Translate business needs into practical data requirements and future-focused, scalable solutions.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights that connect data to business impact, enabling better planning, decision-making, and operational outcomes.
  • Promote data literacy, self-service analytics, and GenAI-enabled insights for teams across Global Logistics.
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and responsible AI adoption.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (e.g., On Time Delivery, cost, model accuracy, business impact), leveraging analytics to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure all analytics and AI initiatives comply with data privacy, security, and governance requirements.

What you will bring:

  • Advanced proficiency in machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI tool development, with a proven ability to deliver impactful solutions in complex, data-rich environments.
  • Strong foundation in data engineering, including experience with data architecture, pipeline development, and data quality management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery, with the ability to write queries, troubleshoot data issues, and generate clear insights.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization platforms.
  • Deep understanding of data stewardship, governance, and compliance, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable, automated solutions.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and connect data to clear business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and the practical application of AI and analytics to deliver measurable business outcomes.
