Role and Responsibilities of Retail Pharmacy Assistant:

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities include:

• Process and accurately dispense prescription orders to customers
• Counsel patients regarding medications, health concerns, and best practices
• Administer immunizations and participate in Walmart health programs
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Model effective customer service and guide pharmacy staff in best practices

Required Skills and Experience of Retail Pharmacy Assistant:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
• Active pharmacy license by job entry date
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited Immunization Training Program (e.g., APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or state pharmacy association sponsored)
• Experience engaging with patients and fostering relationships in a pharmacy setting
• Strong adaptability to address a variety of patient and healthcare needs
• Familiarity with community outreach and patient education initiatives

• Hourly wage range: $47.12-$82.69, with performance-based annual or quarterly bonuses
