About the job : Role : DevOps Engineer GCPExperience : 6+ YearsEmployment Type : Full TimeWork Mode : HybridLocations : Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, GurgaonRole Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support and enhance cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, deployment processes, and production operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and system reliability engineering.Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on GCP- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless application deployments- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform or other IaC tools- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using industry-standard monitoring solutions- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline release management and deployment processes- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and production issues in a timely manner- Implement DevOps best practices related to automation, security, scalability, and operational efficiencyRequired Skills & Experience : - 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform- Good experience with Linux administration and shell scripting- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or GCP Cloud Monitoring- Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and high-availability architecturePreferred Qualifications : - GCP Certifications will be an added advantage- Experience working in microservices-based environments- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automationNotice Period : - Immediate to short notice candidates are highly preferred (ref: hirist.tech)
