Duration: 6-Month Contract

Job Summary

Value Technology is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager (Contract Manager) to support IT contract administration and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract management, IT administrative support, and government purchasing processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficient contract execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer IT-related contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational and government policies
  • Support procurement activities, including vendor coordination, purchase requests, and contract documentation
  • Track contract lifecycle activities such as renewals, amendments, and closures
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining contract records, reports, and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, procurement departments, and external vendors
  • Monitor contract performance and escalate risks or issues as needed
  • Provide administrative support for IT projects, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, or local government purchasing guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in contract management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing administrative support in an IT environment
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of IT procurement processes for government entities (Federal, State, or Local)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with public sector or government contracts
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and contract management tools
  • Understanding of compliance, audit, and reporting requirements in government IT projects
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies
