About the Role
The Equity & Culture Associate provides critical operational and administrative support across internal culture and engagement initiatives. This role is highly cross-functional and execution-focused, helping ensure programs, communications, and systems run smoothly and consistently across the organization.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating culture programming, supporting internal communications, maintaining documentation and processes, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen an inclusive and equitable workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate employee engagement and culture initiatives (e.g., retreats, heritage months, wellness programming)
Support learning & development efforts, including training materials and internal programs
Draft and design internal communications (newsletters, presentations, engagement materials) using tools like Canva and Google Slides
Create, manage, and track surveys to support culture and engagement insights
Maintain SOPs, internal documentation, and shared resources to ensure consistency and accessibility
Manage scheduling, logistics, and coordination across multiple programs and stakeholders
Track participation and maintain organized records for reporting and evaluation
Provide general operational and administrative support across Equity & Culture initiatives
What They’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in HR, operations, program coordination, or culture/DEI-focused work
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent written communication skills, with experience creating internal-facing materials
Hands-on experience with Canva (or similar design tools) and Google Workspace
Experience coordinating events, programs, or internal initiatives from planning through execution
High attention to detail and ability to manage documentation, trackers, and systems
Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high level of ownership
Demonstrated interest in equity, inclusion, and fostering positive workplace culture
Nice to Have
Experience in nonprofit, advocacy, or mission-driven organizations
Exposure to learning & development programs or training coordination
Familiarity with survey tools or project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com)
