Job Description

As an Account Manager in our contract staffing division, your role will involve driving vendor expansion and managing relationships with vendors across India. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing skilled professional vendors to meet client requirements on short notice. Your strategic sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management skills will be crucial in ensuring the successful operation of contractual hiring and manpower supply.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Vendor Expansion: Identify, onboard, and develop new staffing vendors or agencies with strong capabilities in contract and temporary hiring.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing vendors to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Negotiation & Rate Management: Negotiate billing rates with vendors to ensure profitability, competitiveness, and policy compliance.
  • Database Development: Build and maintain a comprehensive vendor database segmented by skill set, location, turnaround time, and success rate.
  • Coordination with TA Team: Collaborate with internal Talent Acquisition to align vendor submissions with client requirements.
  • Performance Management: Monitor vendor performance metrics such as responsiveness, profile quality, and turnaround time.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure proper execution, tracking, and updating of vendor agreements, NDAs, and rate cards.
  • Market Mapping: Conduct market research to identify new staffing partners, emerging talent vendors, and niche skill suppliers.
  • Strategic Growth: Contribute to the vendor engagement strategy and suggest process improvements for scalability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 58 years of experience in vendor management, staffing, subcontracting, or contract hiring.
  • Strong understanding of contractual hiring models, manpower sourcing, and vendor lifecycle management.
  • Experience in PAN India vendor onboarding and management across multiple industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendor accounts and hiring requirements simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic knowledge of ATS or vendor tracking tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
