Polarion Developer & Configuration (India)

As a Polarion Developer & Configuration Specialist, you will design, customise, and optimise ALM workflows to support end‑to‑end software development and integration. You will apply expertise in Polarion, Java, and REST APIs to deliver tailored solutions, ensuring seamless configuration management and compliance with certification standards.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

• Develop Polarion customisations including workflow automations, trigger scripts, live reports, and macros.
• Apply SDK and API knowledge to build integrations and optimise existing ALM workflows.
• Design and implement tailored reports and dashboards to visualise project data and metrics.
• Integrate Polarion with other systems using REST APIs, web services, and OSLC standards.
• Execute projects across the full software development lifecycle using Agile practices, defect tracking, testing, and requirements management.
• Apply Core Java, Java scripting, and REST API expertise to develop integrations and automation.
• Use Excel for data analysis, reporting, automation, and macros, with potential VBA programming.
• Apply SQL database knowledge for querying and reporting.
• Perform configuration management activities including baselining, labelling, version control, releasing, and change control (PR/ECR) using ALM/PLM tools.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure successful completion of problem reporting, change control, and release workflows.
• Support compliance with DO‑178 and DO‑254 configuration management objectives.

• You have extensive hands‑on experience with Polarion customisations and ALM workflows.
• You are experienced in end‑to‑end software development lifecycle execution using Agile methodologies.

Technical Expertise

• You are proficient in ALM/Polarion, Core Java, Java scripting, REST APIs, and integration development.
• You have knowledge of OSLC APIs and OSLC‑based integrations.
• You are skilled in Excel automation, macros, and VBA programming.
• You are familiar with SQL databases and querying.
• You have exposure to configuration management activities and certification standards such as DO‑178 and DO‑254.
