You will be working at Siemens Digital Industries Software, a leading provider of solutions for designing, simulating, and manufacturing products across various industries. As a Cloud Operations Manager at Cloud Application Services (CApS), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational governance within the regional CApS team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining operational governance within the regional CApS team, ensuring operational management governance.
- Handling customer engagement throughout the lifecycle, from onboarding to SAAS offboarding and renewals.
- Managing risk and issue management, including planning, identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling.
- Supervising the project's progress, resolving issues, and initiating corrective and preventive actions.
- Reviewing contracts and taking actions concerning risks, opportunities, and contractual obligations.
- Managing customer support requirements and project scope to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
- Driving customer communication for outages, escalations, and acting as a point of contact for the Siemens CApS leadership team.
- Driving innovation and improvement ideas within operations.
- Leading and overseeing critical project cost issues and providing proactive advice to leadership.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Experience working within an ITIL environment, with an ITIL Certification being highly desirable.
- Experience in handling application support-related projects.
- Working in customer-facing positions, running operations in a software business, ideally within industrial software sectors like PLM, CAD, MES, or MOM.
- Experience in handling SaaS-based customer support projects will be an added advantage.
