• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, licensing deals, and distribution agreements.
• Manage intellectual property matters such as trademark filings, copyright registrations, and enforcement actions related to designs, logos, and brand assets.
• Provide legal support on compliance with local and international regulations, including labor laws, consumer protection, data privacy, and e-commerce standards.
• Assist in due diligence processes for potential partnerships, acquisitions, or new market expansions.
• Maintain and organize legal documentation, contracts, and compliance records in a centralized digital system.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure brand content and product launches comply with legal standards.
• Monitor legal developments impacting the fashion industry and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
• Support internal audits, legal training sessions, and policy development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized university.
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law, preferably in the fashion, retail, or consumer goods industry.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property law, especially trademarks and copyrights in design and branding.
• Proficiency in contract drafting and negotiation, with experience handling vendor and supplier agreements.
• Familiarity with Indian contract law, competition law, and consumer protection regulations.
• Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal database tools.
