Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Microsoft 365 Administrator (L2) to manage, support, and optimize enterprise cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in identity management, security, messaging systems, and collaboration tools within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, automation skills, and the ability to ensure high availability, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 services in a real-time production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Monitor service health and ensure high availability of services
- Troubleshoot and resolve M365-related issues
Identity & Access Management
- Configure and manage Microsoft Entra Connect (Azure AD Connect)
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions
- Manage users, roles, licenses, and permissions
- Configure Conditional Access policies
Security & Compliance
- Implement and manage security configurations and compliance policies
- Manage email security (SPF, DKIM, mail flow rules, DNS)
- Perform eDiscovery and mailbox investigations
- Support Azure Information Protection
Collaboration Tools
- Manage Microsoft Teams (calling, meetings, messaging, collaboration)
- Provide end-user support for collaboration tools
Device & Application Management
- Manage endpoints via Microsoft Intune (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
- Deploy and manage applications using Intune
Automation & Scripting
- Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting
- Optimize repetitive administrative tasks
Troubleshooting & Support
- Provide L2 support for Active Directory and Microsoft 365 issues
- Handle real-time production issues and escalations
- Collaborate with internal IT teams
Documentation & Improvements
- Maintain technical documentation and SOPs
- Stay updated with new M365 features
- Support migrations, upgrades, and implementations
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Microsoft 365 administration
- Hands-on with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Experience with Microsoft Entra Connect / Azure AD
- Strong troubleshooting skills in AD and M365
- PowerShell scripting knowledge
- Knowledge of email security (SPF, DKIM, DNS)
- Experience with Microsoft Intune
- Understanding of compliance, security, and eDiscovery
