The Project Manager will drive the end-to-end execution and governance of complex ERP transformations within Manufacturing and allied industries. This role is responsible for ensuring that multi-year, multi-million dollar implementations stay on track, meet rigorous quality standards, and deliver intended business value on the ground. You will manage the project lifecycle, coordinate cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary point of tactical execution and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Governance & Execution

• Methodology Application: Apply and adhere to established project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) tailored for ERP lifecycles.
• Tracking & Reporting: Maintain Project Dashboards tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and milestone achievements.
• Stakeholder Management: Prepare updates for the Project Steering Committee, providing transparent insights into project health, budget burn, and timeline tracking.

2. Delivery & Resource Management

• ERP Implementation: Lead the day-to-day execution of SAP S/4HANA or IBM Maximo/ERP modules across assigned business units.
• Resource Coordination: Manage day-to-day resource allocation, ensuring technical architects and functional consultants are effectively utilized during critical project phases.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the first line of defense for project bottlenecks, driving immediate recovery efforts and escalating to the PMO when necessary.

3. Risk, Compliance & Vendor Coordination

• Risk Mitigation: Actively identify and mitigate project risks, particularly regarding data migration, system integration, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
• Standards Adherence: Ensure the project team adheres to security protocols, architectural standards, and compliance guidelines.
• Vendor Tracking: Monitor deliverables and contract compliance for third-party subcontractors or software providers assigned to the project.

4. Financial Tracking

• Budget Management: Monitor project spend against the allocated baseline, tracking variances and flagging overages early.
• Forecasting: Provide accurate monthly project forecasting to support healthy margins and accurate financial reporting.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 5–8+ years in IT Project Management, with a proven track record of directly managing ERP implementations.
• Certification: PMP Certification (or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Domain Expertise: Proven working experience in Manufacturing or allied industries is a must-have.
• Technical Savvy: Solid understanding of ERP architecture, Middleware, and Cloud Integration concepts (Azure/AWS/IBM Cloud).

Success Metrics

• On-Time Delivery: Percentage of project milestones met within the approved baseline.
• Budget Adherence: Variance percentage between planned vs. actual project spend.
• Customer Satisfaction (CSAT): CSAT scores and feedback from business leads or external clients post-deployment.
• Team Utilization: Optimized billable vs. non-billable hours for the project team.
