Bookeeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our growing US-based business operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Process invoices, verify vendor bills, and monitor company expenses.
• Identify duplicate charges, overbilling, unusual expenses, and financial discrepancies.
• Coordinate payroll data and maintain employee-related financial records.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Work closely with US-based CPAs, accountants, and finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with US accounting procedures and reporting deadlines.
• Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis activities.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US bookkeeping and accounting processes.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
• Experience managing AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working full-time US Night Shift hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with US-based companies or US clients.
• Experience with California-based businesses is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of sales tax, payroll processing, and financial compliance.
• eCommerce accounting experience (Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with US CPA firms or accounting teams.
• B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
