We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive Bookkeeper to support our California-based business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US bookkeeping, financial record management, reconciliations, and accounting software while being comfortable working during US business hours.

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and financial transactions
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Handle invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll coordination
• Prepare monthly financial reports, Profit & Loss statements, and financial summaries
• Work extensively on QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
• Coordinate with US-based CPA and accounting teams
• Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and reporting deadlines
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US accounting and bookkeeping processes
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
• Experience managing AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data management skills
• Excellent English communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with US-based companies or clients
• eCommerce bookkeeping experience (Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, etc.) is a plus
• B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or related qualification
• Experience coordinating with US CPA firms or accounting teams

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
