This role at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) will be part of the IT team, specifically working in the Development team to support Developers with Requirements gathering and Testing. Key responsibilities will include: - Gathering business requirements through interactions with end users and other teams - Analyzing requirements and breaking them down into actionable functional specifications for Development teams - Converting business requirements into test cases - Coordinating across technical teams and overseeing the development process - Conducting IT testing and user testing activities - Project planning and communication with stakeholders - Bug fix verification and validation Essential Qualifications for this role: - Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology - Good understanding of Investment Management and Asset Management business - 8 years of experience in technology and/or data functions in financial services or consulting industry - Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL - Proficiency in building comprehensive reports summarizing business deliverables from JIRA - Familiarity with Test-driven or Agile development methodologies - Expertise in Requirement Gathering, Data Analysis, and Gap Analysis - Ability to work independently and lead a team of business analysts - Capable of producing Analysis and functional specification documents (BSD/FSD) as well as Test Plans and Scenarios - Excellent Documentation Skills - Experience in driving large transformation/implementation projects as a lead - Acting as a liaison between IT and Business, facilitating discussions among cross-functional teams - Taking ownership of problems and driving towards resolution - Conducting Functional/Acceptance Testing of own & others applications - Scoping work streams and estimating proposed work - Effective management of day-to-day tasks/activities in coordination with a team of developers to meet deliverables - Exposure to a systematic understanding of Fund Accounting would be advantageous This role at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) will be part of the IT team, specifically working in the Development team to support Developers with Requirements gathering and Testing.
