Role Description

The Investment Team Associate will support all aspects of the investment lifecycle — deal sourcing, transaction execution, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. This is a hands-on role in a lean, execution-focused environment with direct exposure to senior decision-makers and the full arc of each deal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or a related discipline
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, management consulting, or corporate development
• Strong financial modeling and accounting proficiency
• High attention to detail and sound analytical judgment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated alignment with STAPLE's mission and the principles of Intentional Christian Ownership
• Commitment to ethical business practices and alignment with the organization's mission and values

Comp/Logistics

• Compensation: Commensurate with experience and expected to range from $200,000 - $250,000
• Potential participation in long-term incentive or carry programs, depending on level and firm structure
• Location: on-site in our office in Reston, VA office (in-person role)
• Timeline: Start date in spring or summer 2026
