Forklift Operator- Turret Truck & Counter Balance

Job Summary

Staff Plus is hiring a skilled and dynamic Forklift Operator to join our client in a fast-paced warehouse environment at Richmond Hill. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating counter balance and turret truck forklifts, and material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, and store products within the warehouse.

Duties

• Operate propane and electric counterbalance forklifts and electric turret truck (man-up)
• Loading and unloading skids and products
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate clearly with both incoming and outgoing shifts to ensure smooth handovers
• Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards
• Support general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating propane and electric counterbalance forklifts
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating an electric turret truck
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or holidays if needed
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and work full time hours as required by this position
