Job Summary
Staff Plus is seeking a skilled and dynamic Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, and material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, and store products within the warehouse.
Duties
- Operate propane and electric counterbalance forklifts and electric turret truck (man-up)
- Loading and unloading skids and products
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate clearly with both incoming and outgoing shifts to ensure smooth handovers
- Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards
- Support general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift license
- Proven experience operating propane and electric counterbalance forklifts
- Experience operating an electric turret truck
- 3+ years of experience in a warehouse is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Willingness to work occasional weekends or holidays if needed
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and work full time hours as required by this position
