Medical Coding - Surgery Coder - Complex Surgery Coder - SDS - General Surgery

In this role as a Surgery Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records to assign accurate codes for surgical procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations for complex surgeries.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and improve coding accuracy.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding updates, regulations, and best practices in surgical coding.
• Preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies for reimbursement.

• Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
