The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of experience in medical coding, with a focus on home health services. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of coding guidelines to ensure accurate billing and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign appropriate medical codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and coding standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on coding practices and guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications
