Network Field Engineer (On Call)

Smart Hands / Network Field Engineer – Job Description

• Provide on-site technical support at data centers or client locations
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network and IT hardware (routers, switches, servers)
• Perform rack and stack, cabling, patching, and equipment replacement
• Assist remote engineers with hands-on tasks and diagnostics
• Monitor and resolve basic network and hardware issues
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Document work performed, updates, and incident reports
• Respond to service requests within defined SLAs
• Support hardware upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning
• Work on an on-call or flexible schedule as required
