Scope of work:

FE(Field Engineer) will be responsible for onsite installation, connectivity, and support activities related to Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) deployments across multiple sites in USA and Canada.

Role Responsibilities:

• Rack & stack and structured cabling
• Install 2 x Cisco 9800 WLCs per site
• Perform fiber connectivity, SFP installation, and patching (fiber & Ethernet)
• Execute power/network cross-connections and validate switchports
• Stage equipment before cutover
• Support remote teams during cutover and validate installations
• Decommission legacy WLCs (40–50% sites), including packing and return preparation

Tools & Requirements:

• Must have: console cable, hotspot, label maker, rack screws
• Should arrange (cost reimbursable): SFP modules, fiber patch cords, Ethernet patch cords

Strong hands-on experience in networking, cabling, and field support
