Role Overview:
As an Assistant Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will be a part of an international team working on innovative solutions for global projects in the energy industry. You will play a crucial role in the technical realization of O&G, Chemical and Hydrogen projects within the Business Area EAD, contributing to the Transformation of Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full support to EAD Projects in the Industry environment project category C and B throughout all phases from design, manufacturing, installation to commissioning, ensuring aspects such as cost, time, functionality, and customer satisfaction are met.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to negotiate with stakeholders on Change Requests, incorporate them into contracts, and handle subsequent contract and claim management.
- Assist in Risk-Opportunity Management by developing effective strategies for risk mitigation.
- Support the implementation of Project Excellence@Siemens Energy planning elements, manage milestone work results, set up and maintain the Project Management Plan, and handle EHS obligations.
Qualifications Required:
- Hold a degree in electrical engineering or automation technology, or possess several years of professional experience in an industrial environment.
- Previous experience in project management support and familiarity with EAD (Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization) for projects in the process industries.
- Proficiency in internal and international rules and regulations relevant to Project Management, including executing and supporting independent SAP purchase orders, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in international engineering teams.
