Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Project Manager – Formulations R&D with 6–10 years of experience, offering a compensation of approximately 15 LPA. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end formulation development projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and timely delivery of R&D activities. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams such as analytical development, regulatory affairs, production, and quality to ensure project milestones and compliance requirements are met. The role involves preparing and tracking project plans, risk registers, and timelines; reviewing technical documents; and supporting technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing. The Project Manager will also drive process improvement initiatives, maintain clear project documentation, and regularly report progress and risks to leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong project management capabilities, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation in pharmaceutical or formulations R&D environments.
• Technical expertise in formulations R&D, including dosage form development, pre-formulation studies, scale-up, and technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards (e.g., WHO, cGMP, ICH guidelines) and experience working with QA, QC, and regulatory affairs teams.
• Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and use of project management tools or software for tracking deliverables and preparing status reports.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate timelines and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach to complex projects.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
• Prior experience managing multiple concurrent R&D projects and leading teams or project groups within a pharmaceutical organization.
