Robert Half's client in Northern NJ is looking for a creative, strategic, and hands-on Digital Media Specialist (Email Marketing/Email Design- Contract-to-Hire) to design, own, and execute email marketing initiatives end-to-end. This is a unique opportunity to blend design, strategy, and analytics, with full ownership over the email marketing lifecycle.

🔹 What You’ll Do:

• Own email campaigns from concept through execution—including strategy, design, deployment, and performance optimization
• Balance responsibilities across ~50% email design / 50% email marketing strategy
• Build and manage customer journey automations and lifecycle marketing campaigns
• Develop and maintain content calendars and campaign schedules aligned to promotions, product launches, and seasonal initiatives
• Design visually compelling emails using Adobe Creative Suite, incorporating interactive elements (GIFs, animation, video when appropriate)
• Use HubSpot to build, schedule, deploy, and optimize campaigns and workflows
• Track performance metrics (engagement, conversions, retention) and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
• Conduct A/B testing to continuously improve campaign effectiveness

🔹 Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on HubSpot experience is required (including setup, automation workflows, segmentation, and reporting)
• 3+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or marketing automation
• Strong email design capabilities with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with lifecycle marketing and customer journey mapping
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
