Our client is a leading professional services firm in Atlantic Canada, recognized for their commitment to innovation and excellence. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Solution Developer to join their dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in transforming business needs into high-impact technical solutions, leveraging the full power of the Microsoft ecosystem to drive operational efficiency.

General Role Info

As a Solution Developer, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and automated workflows. Your expertise in SharePoint and the Power Platform will be essential in ensuring optimal performance and delivering a seamless user experience across the enterprise.

Main Responsibilities

• Solution Development: Design and develop SharePoint applications using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
• Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and scalable data structures.
• Automation: Create custom workflows to automate business operations, moving quickly from initial analysis to prototyping.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and provide technical guidance on best practices.
• Administration & Governance: Maintain solutions in alignment with global development standards, cyber policies, and data privacy practices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and documentation for all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Leadership: Mentor peers, support the firm's strategic goals, and maintain a commitment to professional development.

Must Haves

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a recognized post-secondary technical diploma.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer with a deep focus on Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Platform Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft 365, Power BI, and SharePoint architecture.
• Programming Skills: Functional knowledge of languages such as Python, C#, .NET, JavaScript, and/or HTML/CSS.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong presentation skills for senior stakeholders, and the ability to manage high-pressure deadlines.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in a legal or professional services environment.
• Advanced certifications in Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant or Developer Associate.
• Experience with complex data integration between disparate enterprise systems.

Other Important Info

• Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience).
• Work Model: Hybrid. Applicants must be located near one of the following Atlantic Canada hubs:

NL: St. John's
