Role Summary

R K Swamy is seeking a senior PR professional based out of Mumbai to lead the PR vertical. The role will be responsible for the growth of this vertical, talent recruitment to build a good team, designing and implementing effective communication strategies, and media relations programs for their set of clients from Realty, Infrastructure, PSU, BFSI, Healthcare and Technology and more.

Responsibilities

Client Responsibility

Being adept at managing and executing the various requirements for their clients
Supervise all major deliverables including performance matrix, key meetings/review meetings as required by the clients
Responsible for managing and engaging with clients on their marketing goals and strategies
Overseeing PR campaigns from creative brief to implementation and delivery –Think of creative ideas to drive PR initiatives that bring long term success to the clients’ business
Managing PR outcomes and interpreting data for insightful communication
Present findings to the board and key stakeholders
Overseeing media strategy and account development
Adept to managing PR crises- offering crisis management and counsel to clients and extending networking opportunities
Coordinate with marketing, communication and brand teams at Client end
Experience in managing offline and online communication strategies

Team Management

Nurturing, mentoring and developing talent
Set objectives for the PR Team and monitor team member performance

Others

Knowledge of new age technologies and digital marketing
Cultivate and maintain relationships with media (offline and online)
Developing senior press relationships, managing contacts with key industry spokespeople and sector influencers especially in the A&M community.

Other competencies:

Mandatory pre-requisites: Fluent in languages – spoken and written
Proven work experience as a PR professional
Strong experience in designing, coordinating and executing successful PR campaigns
Designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
Excellent communication and presentation skills- To be able to manage with confidence as company spokesperson
Team management skills
Ability to foster long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Solution finder to every problem
Showcase resilience
Expertise in social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc

Education

MBA/PGDM or equivalent/Master degree in Marketing/ PR with 10 years plus of relevant experience
