Location: Hyderabad (Flexible US Shift Support Required)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Manager – Business Analyst with a strong background in automation and process transformation. This role is pivotal in identifying automation opportunities, translating business needs into technical requirements, and acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams.

The ideal candidate will combine deep business analysis expertise, strong automation domain knowledge, and hands-on experience managing automation initiatives using tools like UiPath, Alteryx, or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis & Requirement Management

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Create process maps, user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and solution documentation.
• Ensure clear communication of requirements to technical and development teams.

2. Automation Opportunity Identification

• Proactively identify and evaluate business processes suitable for automation (RPA, workflow automation, analytics-driven automation).
• Conduct feasibility analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and prioritization of automation initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation-led transformation.

3. Stakeholder & IT Alignment

• Serve as a liaison between business users and IT/development teams.
• Ensure alignment on solution design, timelines, and delivery expectations.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.

4. Automation Project Management

• Lead and manage end-to-end automation projects from ideation to deployment.
• Coordinate with developers, architects, QA teams, and business users.
• Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

5. Tooling & Technical Understanding

• Leverage tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, Power Platform, or similar technologies to design and support automation solutions.
• Develop a working understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure practical and scalable solutions.

6. Governance & Documentation

• Maintain automation documentation, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
• Support audit and reporting requirements for automation initiatives.

Key Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 8–12+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or automation.
• Proven experience managing automation/RPA projects in a leadership role.
• Strong experience working with cross-functional teams (Business + IT).

Required Skills

• Expertise in business analysis methodologies and documentation
• Strong experience with automation tools:
• UiPath (preferred)
• Alteryx
• Exposure to Power Automate / other RPA tools is a plus
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong understanding of IT systems, integration concepts, and data flows
• Experience in process mapping (Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN) is desirable
• Proven ability to identify and drive automation opportunities at scale
