IT Technical Writer

As an IT Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, structured documentation for IT systems, applications, and processes. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional IT teams to develop SOPs, runbooks, user guides, and API documentation while ensuring alignment with ITIL and compliance standards.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, applications, and processes
• Develop SOPs, runbooks, user guides, and API documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams
• Ensure alignment with ITIL and compliance standards
• *Qualifications Required:**
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Writing
• 2 to 5 years of experience in IT Technical Writing
• Strong understanding of IT concepts including operating systems, networking fundamentals, databases, applications, and cloud platforms
• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, MS Word, and Google Docs
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and SDLC
• Strong written, editing, and communication skills

In addition to the above qualifications, the following skills are preferred:

• Experience documenting APIs, infrastructure, or cloud environments
• Knowledge of Markdown, HTML, or basic scripting
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Exposure to cybersecurity or compliance documentation
