Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Trainee Business Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn business processes, data analysis, and client coordination. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis and stakeholder management while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
- Coordinate with internal teams including development, QA, and project management teams.
- Conduct market research, data analysis, and competitor analysis to support business decisions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for management review.
- Participate in client meetings and take meeting minutes/document action items.
- Support testing activities by validating business requirements and expected outcomes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and maintain project documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of business analysis concepts and SDLC.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt.
- Internship or academic project experience in business analysis will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic data visualization and reporting skills.
