The role is based in Montreal, Quebec (Canada) and is a full-time permanent position.
Overview
The Senior Analyst, Canadian Tax will support the Senior Manager, Canadian Tax in managing all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and analysis across multiple corporate entities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Canadian corporate tax returns (T2, T5013) along with various information filings (T1134, T4A-NR, NR4, and others)
- Support quarterly tax provision calculations and assist with return-to-provision adjustments for financial reporting
- Assist in managing corporate and sales tax audits, including documentation and analysis
- Review and reconcile general ledger tax accounts, calculate tax instalments, and prepare journal entries and payment requests
- Manage correspondence with tax authorities and support resolution of inquiries as required
- Review indirect tax filings prepared by internal accounting teams and support monthly submission processes
- Participate in tax-related projects and prepare detailed tax analysis as needed
- Provide support on ad hoc tax and finance-related requests

Candidate Profile
- Bilingual in French and English (required for corporate roles)- must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA designation or equivalent experience preferred
- CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program (completed or in progress) considered an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or related financial roles
- Strong understanding of Canadian corporate and indirect tax principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with tax preparation systems (e.g., TaxPrep) considered an asset
110K-115K + bonus (10%) + defined contribution (up to 8% matching) + 4 weeks vacation

L’analyste principal(e) en fiscalité canadienne soutiendra le/la gestionnaire principal(e) en fiscalité canadienne dans la gestion de l’ensemble des activités liées à la conformité fiscale, à la production de rapports et aux analyses pour plusieurs entités corporatives au sein de l’organisation.
Responsabilités principales
- Préparer les déclarations de revenus des sociétés canadiennes (T2, T5013) ainsi que divers formulaires informatifs (T1134, T4A-NR, NR4 et autres)
- Appuyer le calcul des provisions fiscales trimestrielles et participer aux ajustements entre les provisions et les déclarations pour la production de rapports financiers
- Contribuer à la gestion des audits fiscaux corporatifs et des taxes de vente, incluant la documentation et l’analyse
- Examiner et concilier les comptes fiscaux du grand livre général, calculer les acomptes provisionnels et préparer les écritures comptables ainsi que les demandes de paiement
- Gérer la correspondance avec les autorités fiscales et soutenir la résolution des demandes au besoin
- Examiner les déclarations de taxes indirectes préparées par les équipes comptables internes et soutenir les processus de production mensuelle
- Participer à des projets fiscaux et produire des analyses fiscales détaillées selon les besoins
- Fournir un soutien pour diverses demandes ponctuelles en fiscalité et finance

- Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en conformité fiscale, comptabilité ou domaine financier connexe

- Maîtrise avancée d’Excel; expérience avec des logiciels de préparation fiscale (ex. TaxPrep) considérée comme un atout
