Position: Project Manager (PMP) – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP Implementation
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a multi-entity ERP integration and change management program. This role is responsible for consolidating multiple operating businesses onto a single ERP platform ( Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with an industry-specific layer/ Integrator ), while driving the people-side of change across finance, operations, sales, procurement, and warehouse teams.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience running Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementations or migrations that span multiple legal entities, business units, and legacy systems, and will thrive in a fast-paced merger and integration environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
•
- Own the full project lifecycle — initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure — across all workstreams (Finance, Inventory/Master Data, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Reporting).
•
- Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, RAID log, budget, and status dashboards.
•
- Manage cross-functional resources, external implementation partners, and vendors to hit milestones on time and on budget.
•
- Facilitate steering committee, sponsor, and working group meetings — including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
ERP & Systems Expertise
•
- Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and business process design across multiple entities.
•
- Coordinate master data strategy (item, customer, vendor, GL, UOM) and standardization across businesses.
•
- Oversee data migration, cutover planning, UAT, hypercare, and go-live activities.
•
- Partner with IT and the implementation vendor on configuration, integrations, and reporting.
Multi-Business Integration
•
- Align processes and policies across multiple acquired or sister companies, balancing standardization with local business needs.
•
- Manage stakeholder relationships across finance, operations, sales, warehouse, and executive leadership at each site.
•
- Support synergy tracking, site transitions, and harmonization of workflows post-merger.
Change Management & Governance
•
- Build and execute the change management plan — stakeholder analysis, communication plan, training strategy, and adoption metrics.
•
- Develop governance frameworks, RACI charts, one-pagers, and SOPs to embed sustainable practices.
•
- Lead training, super-user programs, and knowledge transfer to end users.
•
- Champion a culture of process discipline, data governance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
•
- 5–8+ years of Project Management experience, with at least 2 full-cycle ERP implementations or migrations delivered. Prefereably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central,
•
- Demonstrated experience managing ERP projects across multiple business entities, sites, or acquired companies.
•
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NetSuite, SAP, or comparable mid-market ERP. Industry-specific layers (e.g., food/seafood, distribution) an asset.
•
- Strong understanding of core business processes: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory & Warehouse, Finance/GL, Master Data Management.
•
- Proven ability to lead change management initiatives — communications, training, adoption, and stakeholder engagement.
•
- Advanced skills in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams/SharePoint.
•
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification preferred; Prosci / CCMP change certification is a strong asset.
