Phlebotomist Floater

Pride Health is hiring a “Phlebotomist Floater” to support our client’s medical facility-based “Arlington, VA 22204” This is a 5-6 Month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position Name: Phlebotomist floater

Location: Arlington, VA 22204

Pay rate: $19.85/hr- $21.79/hr

Duration: 2-3 months with possible extension

Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday - 9am - 5:30pm

Thursday - 11am - 6:30pm

Required: Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant Certification with Phlebotomy training

Job Description

Job Summary

The Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist floater serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

Experience

• 5 year of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
• Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
