F&A - Senior Associate - Account Payable Lead

As a Senior Associate in the Managed Services team at PwC, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams to assist clients in implementing and operating new capabilities, achieving operational efficiencies, and leveraging technology effectively. The Finance & Accounting Managed Services team focuses on addressing challenges related to control standards, back-office efficiency, and transforming finance functions to reduce complexity and optimize processes. Your role will involve delivering core finance & accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Compliance and Controls, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, General Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax, and Treasury.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Accounts Payable related journal entries with appropriate documentation
- Performing Accounts Payable related account reconciliations and analysis
- Reviewing Purchase Orders for compliance and adherence to approval policies
- Validating tax calculations across invoices
- Maintaining vendor database and preparing expense accruals from vendor contracts
- Processing both PO and Non-PO invoices, as well as Travel & Expense reports and P-card transactions
- Updating vendor master data and handling vendor payments along with complex vendor queries
- Matching and authorizing invoices, as well as handling invoice exceptions
- Conducting basic reporting and analysis
- Ensuring compliance with tax requirements related to Accounts Payable function such as W-9, W-8BEN, 1099, 1042, DAC7, etc.
- Demonstrating advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools like Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau
- Having experience with NetSuite
