As a mid-level leader in Creative Direction, you will play a crucial role in shaping the overall expression of a new consumer product/app. Your strong taste, judgment, and ownership will be essential in translating a creative vision across visual design, motion, and app sound/experience. You will collaborate with specialist freelancers to ensure high-quality execution, leading the thinking and setting the bar for creative output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the creative direction for visuals, motion/video, and sound/audio elements in the app experience.
  • Curate and guide a library of artworks, images, and visual assets with strong consistency.
  • Lead creative direction across brand, product, and user-facing experiences.
  • Define and maintain a strong visual and sensory identity across screens, campaigns, content, and product touchpoints.
  • Review creative work closely, driving refinement to meet high standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, tone, quality, and emotional appeal across all creative outputs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate product ideas into polished, consumer-friendly creative experiences.
  • Establish systems and processes for external creative teams to execute efficiently without compromising quality.

Ideal Background:

Candidates with backgrounds in creative direction, visual/brand design, art direction, consumer app/digital product creative, lifestyle/media/entertainment/editorial/premium consumer brands are preferred.

Capabilities:

  • Mid-senior level professional with strong experience in creative direction, visual design, branding, art direction, or related fields.
