Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Senior Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst to join their thriving team. This role is critical in identifying, evaluating, and executing profitable real estate investment opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to support strategic acquisition decisions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of real estate markets, financial analysis techniques, and deal structuring. This position requires an on-site presence to effectively manage relationships and conduct property assessments.
Responsibilities: Identify and source potential real estate acquisition opportunities aligned with the company's investment strategy. Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to assess market conditions and potential returns. Perform detailed financial modeling, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, pro forma development, and sensitivity analysis, to evaluate investment viability. Underwrite potential acquisitions, preparing detailed investment memos and presentations for senior management. Manage the due diligence process, coordinating with legal counsel, consultants, and third-party service providers. Negotiate deal terms and assist in the structuring of purchase agreements. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, sellers, and other industry professionals. Monitor existing investments and provide reports on performance. Assist in the preparation of investor reports and presentations. Stay informed about real estate market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the industry. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional designation (e.g., CFA, CCIM) is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or corporate finance with a focus on real estate. Proficiency in financial modeling using Excel, including the ability to build complex models from scratch. Strong understanding of real estate valuation methods and investment metrics. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Experience with commercial real estate, including retail, office, industrial, or multifamily properties. Familiarity with legal documentation related to real estate transactions. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
