Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Handle end-to-end books of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closure.
• Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) as per applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC-related accounting inputs, etc.) in coordination with taxation teams.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, inter-company and other key reconciliations regularly.
• Support audits by preparing schedules, resolving auditor queries, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and management reports/MIS for leadership review.
• Implement and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams and clients for accounting-related queries and information.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practical experience in finalisation of accounts.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally/Zoho/ERP) and advanced Excel.
• Good understanding of direct and indirect tax impact on accounting entries.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and clients.

Experience

4–5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, preferably in a CA firm or corporate finance/accounting role.
