Senior Industrial Process Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing conglomerate, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Process Engineer to join their innovative team in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, IN . This pivotal role will focus on analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and advanced statistical methods.

Responsibilities: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Design and implement new processes or modify existing ones to increase productivity and reduce waste. Develop process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and equipment specifications. Utilize lean manufacturing tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) to drive continuous improvement. Conduct time and motion studies to improve workflow and resource utilization. Implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and maintain quality standards. Troubleshoot process issues and develop effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on process improvements. Ensure all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations. Prepare detailed reports on process performance and improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization in a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles and tools. Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and process simulation tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with CAD software is a plus. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
