Senior Field Service Technician - Industrial Machinery

As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex industrial machinery at client sites. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, commissioning, and setup of industrial machinery according to technical specifications and customer requirements. Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Perform complex repairs and component replacements on a wide range of industrial equipment. Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers, including training on equipment operation and maintenance. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide repair and maintenance activities. Respond promptly to service calls and ensure timely resolution of equipment issues. Maintain accurate service records, including detailed reports on work performed, parts used, and time spent. Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve challenging technical problems and provide feedback for product improvement. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on customer sites. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably with industrial machinery or automation systems. Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems. Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and industrial networking is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Must possess a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel frequently to client locations. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field environment.
